Cyanotopy, also called blue printing or light printing, is a kind of precursor to photography. Cyanotopy is a technique in which images are developed with light and light-sensitive emulsion on paper.

It's a simple process, and there's plenty of opportunity to play with different materials in the blue monochrome prints. For example, lace, pressed glass, paper clips, pressed flowers, tissue paper. All materials that let light through.

During the course you will receive an introduction to the technique, and then it is time to play around. We will make prints primarily in A5 format. I will provide materials, but if you have objects at home that are suitable for printing, for example with special meaning to you, please bring them. The objects will not get wet.

There are 6 places in the class and the course is held at my home. We use sunlight, in case of rain, we use indoor UV lamps.
