What are your hopes for 2025?

Come to a New Year's resolution workshop for young people and adults at Davids Samling.

Here we make beautiful garlands of embossed metal foil with symbols from the collection that inspire your hopes and resolutions for the new year.

For example, choose a silhouette of a tiger and leopard pattern for courage, a lotus flower for spirit and enlightenment, fish for wealth - or elephants in battle for the element of chaos, without which the year drowns in boring predictability.

We cut shapes from metal foil and emboss patterns into them ourselves, then color them to your liking. It becomes a beacon of hope that can hang as a year-round decoration in your home.

Everyone over 12 years old can join.

At the workshop you will receive expert guidance from Anna Amiri Melchior. Anna Amiri Melchior is a trained anthropologist and has studied art at the London University of the Arts. She currently works at the Bernadotte School with a consistent focus on creativity, and she is well-versed in the workshop format.

There will be 2 workshops on Saturday, January 18th, 11 a.m.-1 p.m. and 2-4 p.m.
